The Prototype of the search and rescue vessel SAR 3000, which is being built at the Naval Shipyard S.A. is taking on form. Many of the parts of the flat panel welding line are already complete, and work has begun connected with the assembly of the 3 dimensional hull sections. The hull and the superstructure are built from alloy alluminum, which requires specialistic welding technology. In the year 2009, the Shipyard will deliver such two vessels to the Shipowner.
